When designing a memorial plaque there are many different options available to you to help create a unique and stunningly individual
tribute to your loved one. Whether it is a small garden-ashes memorial or a lager plaque, we can help you to create the right memorial to your loved one.
We can also create a plaque for a special place in your garden.
Designing a new Plaque
Finish refers to the stage or texture the granite is polished or not polished to. Fully polished refers to all surfaces visible on the memorial being polished smooth. In most cases this ends up looking a lot like coloured glass. You can combine a number of finishes, i.e. polished, sawn, rocked, honed, axed and carved, to create a very unique memorial.
There is a variety of different colours available for granite memorial plaques to be made from, black being the most widely used in New Zealand. Using colour and different blasting techniques makes for an interesting and uniquely individual memorial.
